What is a strait? -> A narrow waterway connecting two seas or other large bodies of water.  List of Major straits of the world 1)  Bab-el Mandeb strait :-   It connects the Red sea and the Gulf of Aden and separates Yemen and Djibouti. 2) Mozambique strait :- It connects the Indian Ocean and separates Mozambique and Madagascar. 3)  Gibraltar strait :-  connects the Mediterranean sea and the Atlantic Ocean and separates Spain and Morocco.  4) Malacca Strait :- It connects the Andaman sea and the South China Sea and separates Indonesia and Malaysia.  5) Bosporus Strait :- It connects   the Black sea and the Marmara sea and separates Turkey. 6) Dover strait :- It connects the English Channel and the North sea and separates England and France. 7) Bering strait :- It connects the Bering sea and the Chukchi sea and separates Alaska and Russia. 8) Cook strait :-  It connects the Pacific Ocean and separates New Zealand (North and South)....
